Hashtag chat planner
A regular hashtag chat gives a knot a heartbeat. Enter the tag, the time and your questions. The planner checks the tag, shows each session in several time zones, writes the posts with X's character count and gives you a calendar file.
How to use the plan
Check the tag first. If its Latest search is full of something else, choose another before you announce anything. Then post the announcement a few days ahead, schedule the reminder, and keep the question posts ready to go out about ten minutes apart.
After each session, share its archive link. It's a search for the tag limited to that day, so anyone who missed the chat can scroll through the answers. The full guide to running a hashtag chat covers hosting and follow-up.
Questions
Does the planner post for me?
No. It gives you the text and a Post on X link for each post. You can post them yourself during the chat or schedule them with X's own scheduler.
How are characters counted?
The way X counts them: most Latin letters and punctuation count as one, many other scripts and emoji count as two, and every link counts as 23 characters however long it is.
What is in the calendar file?
One event for each of the next six sessions, in UTC so your calendar shows them in your own time zone, with a link to the hashtag's Latest search.
